To: Aaron Group, including its owners, officers, drivers, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, successors, or any person who may be deemed an “occupier” for the purposes of the Occupiers’ Liability Act (collectively referred to as the “Released Parties” or “Releasees”).
1. Acknowledgment of Risks
I, the user, hereby affirm that I fully understand and acknowledge the risks associated with riding in a taxi vehicle, including but not limited to:
- Bodily injury, harm, or death resulting from accidents, vehicle collisions, or other unforeseen events;
- Loss, damage, or theft of personal property while in the vehicle;
- Delays, route changes, or being left without transportation for any reason;
- Exposure to illness or infection (including COVID-19 or other communicable diseases);
- Any negligent acts or omissions by Aaron Group or its drivers, whether active or passive.
2. Release of Liability
I understand that by signing this document, I voluntarily assume all such risks and release and forever discharge the Released Parties from any and all liability, claims, demands, damages, costs, or actions arising out of or related to any loss, injury, or death, including those allegedly caused by the negligence of the Released Parties.
3. Consent to Video/Audio Recording
I acknowledge and consent to the use of video and/or audio recording devices inside Aaron Group vehicles for safety, security, and quality assurance purposes. I understand that such recordings may capture images, sounds, and conversations during the course of the ride. These recordings are owned by Aaron Group and may be used or disclosed in accordance with applicable privacy and legal standards.
4. Privacy and Information Use
In the course of providing transportation services, I acknowledge that Aaron Group may collect and retain personal information including, but not limited to, my name, pickup and drop-off addresses, phone numbers, trip details, and audio or video recordings from in-vehicle security systems.
I acknowledge and agree that certain information cannot be kept confidential due to operational, safety, or legal reasons. These include but are not limited to:
- 1. Trip Information: Pickup and drop-off locations, travel times, and route data may be visible to drivers, dispatch personnel, and, where necessary, law enforcement or emergency responders.
- 2. Identification Details: Names, phone numbers, and booking records may be used for service coordination, billing, or required disclosures.
- 3. Video/Audio Surveillance: Vehicles may be equipped with security cameras that record video and/or audio for safety and insurance purposes. These recordings may be reviewed internally or disclosed to authorities if required.
- 4. Legal and Safety Exceptions: Information may be shared where necessary to comply with legal obligations, enforce terms of service, investigate incidents, or ensure the safety of passengers, drivers, or the public.
5. Additional Terms
I accept responsibility for my own transportation if I am refused service or removed due to misconduct.
I understand that Aaron Group is not liable for delays or missed appointments due to factors outside of their control.
Refund Policies
TAXI
When pre-payment is required for booking of taxi, refund will only be issued if service cannot be initiated. If pick-up is attended, full amount of pre-payment will be surrendered if trip is cancelled.
Taxi service where pre-payment is not required will become uncancellable once taximeter is initiated, the amount due, as stated on meter, is non-refundable.
For billed accounts, the Company reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee between 50% and 100% of estimated trip charge should a pre-booking be cancelled after the vehicle has set out for pick-up.
LUXE
LUXE bookings are non-refundable after 48 hours prior to pick-up time.
TRANSFER
Transfer bookings, up until departure time, are changeable and refundable. Failure to properly cancel or modify booking will result in forfeiture of full amount.
6. Acknowledgment and Legal Effect
I confirm that I have read and fully understand this Waiver. I have had the opportunity to seek independent legal advice and am signing this document voluntarily, without pressure or undue influence.
I understand this waiver is legally binding and will prevent me, my heirs, family members, or representatives from suing Aaron Group for any claims related to my ride, including injury, death, or property damage, however caused.
Privacy policy

Aaron Group is committed to protecting your privacy. In the course of providing the most efficient and expedient service we do collect personal information such as (but not limited to) names, addresses and telephone numbers. It is our policy to only use this information for the purposes of providing the requested service and any other use would constitute a violation. Payment information is never retained without express consent and our payment processing devices are always updated with the most recent security protocols.
If you feel like any of your information has been compromised contact our business office immediately at 705-670-0000 or info@aarontaxi.ca and we will commence an internal investigation. Remedial action, if necessary, will be undertaken by management. If the instance should require more serious action details can be shared with authorities assuming it poses no risk to other uninvolved clientele or staff. Depending on the result of any investigation undertaken internally or by another party, this policy could be subject to amendment. Notwithstanding any investigations, this policy shall be subject to annual review.
Accessibility policy

Aaron Group strives to provide the most accessible service possible. Driver and staff training emphasize a knowledge of all relevant facets of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, The Human Rights Code of Ontario as well as municipal Bylaws that pertain to service provided to those with accessibility concerns.
Please alert us to any service accommodations you may require so that we may dispatch the appropriate vehicle. Although we will endeavour to provide such an accommodation we are only able to do so within our means and may suggest an alternate service if there is any risk posed to equipment, staff or passengers.

If you feel as if a deliverable accommodation was not provided please call our business office at 705-670-0000 or info@aarontaxi.ca so we may investigate your complaint. Remedial action, including potential amendment to this policy, will be undertaken by management if necessary. This policy shall be reviewed annually.
