Services & Specialties
Our History
Aaron Taxi was founded by John Sanders Sr., a recent immigrant from London, England.
Branching into local transportation, Aaron Taxi grew from a solitary taxicab into a full-service fleet, one of the city's largest services.
Today, Aaron Group is owned and operated by John's grandson. Who continues to expand the Aaron Group brand by building a network of services with a core focus on fair employment and trusted partnerships.
Our Businesses
Community Involvement
We strongly believe in working with our community to help everyone get to where they need to be by reducing transportation barriers. By supporting local organizations and the people they serve with access to reliable transportation. Aaron Group helps them get to their essentials like food, places of employment, services and appointments.
We also work with local festival organizations, supporting the arts and culture in our community to bring people together and celebrate by sponsoring ride options for the event.
We want the Y to thrive, which is why we’re supporting their fundraising campaign to secure its presence in the north for generations to come.
Similar to our arrangement with the NLFB, we provide transportation for artists and staff of Jazz Sudbury as well.
To help alleviate the pressures on staff and volunteers, Aaron has been providing transportation for artists and staff at NLFB festivals since 2018. We take control of all planning, scheduling, dispatching and driving before, after and during the shows. This allows the NLFB to dedicate more resources to making Canada’s longest-running festival a greater success with each passing year.
The pandemic was a difficult time for everyone. It was especially hard for those that were already food insecure or were about to be because of difficulties. We partnered with Inner City Homes to protect staff and clients so those isolating at home needn’t go hungry. We felt the service was so vital, we continue to offer it. To date, we’ve delivered over 1000 meals.
